Our story

It started with teaching art

KalaaDhara was founded by artist Army Bhanderi. What began as art classes grew into a working studio where women paint, sculpt and build together.

Today we make oil paintings, Tanjore gold work, sketches, crochet and clay art, and run a 3D-printing workshop where idols and toys are printed and then painted by hand.

What we do

Old craft, new tools

  1. Traditional art

    Oil paintings, Tanjore gold work, sketches, crochet and clay, all made by hand.

  2. 3D printing

    Idols, toys and décor printed in our own workshop, then finished by our artists.

  3. Art classes

    We teach oil, Tanjore, crochet, clay and 3D printing at the studio.
